Footwear for women included low-heeled slingback sandals, and square-toed, square-heeled pumps as well as the Courreges boots. Both shoes and handbags were often made of patent leather. The Beatles wore elastic-sided boots similar to Winkle-pickers with pointed toes and Cuban heels. These were known as Beatle boots, and were widely copied by young men in Britain.

He has accomplished so many things in his outstanding career. He has won many awards, such as the "National Golden Gloves Light Heavyweight Champion" in 1960, "Olympic Light Heavyweight Boxing" Gold Medal in 1960, and the "WBA Heavyweight Champion of the World" ten different times. He also won the "Male Athlete of the Year Award" and "Sportsman of the Year" in 1974, "National Sports Award" in 1994, and the "Essence Award" in 1997.
